Placement tests
A placement test (Accuplacer, for example) is meant to put you in the class that matches where you actually are. Placing above where you really should be is, most of the time, a disaster for the student. It also slows the class when another student is over their head.
I'd rather help you get an honest placement, and then strengthen whatever is shaky, than coach you into a class that's too hard.
ACT and SAT math
I'm not an ACT specialist; mathematics is my specialty. I know the concepts behind the problems and can work through them while explaining what's relevant and what isn't. A specialist may have memorized how to do the problems. I'd rather you understand them, so a new variation doesn't throw you. If you need someone who focuses purely on test strategy, I'll point you to a good one.
Certification and employment exams
Each year I work with a few students preparing for tests to enter or advance in government or education jobs, including teacher-credential math exams. It's interesting how much math is hiding in everyday work. Our success depends on how deep the test goes, how strong your foundation is, and your natural ability. When time is short, the goal is to pass; when there's time, the goal is understanding, because it stays with you.
Cramming
Getting ready for a test in one day is a tall order, though not impossible. It depends on the foundation you already have. If you've been trying, I can usually help you feel more comfortable with what you understand rather than leaving you feeling lost in it.
I help you learn the material. I don't take tests, complete graded online work, or supply answers for you to submit as your own.
